Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV>The waterbodies support healthy aquatic life and ecosystems.This value specifically recognises the requirements of native aquatic ecosystems, including, but not restricted to, fish and aquatic macroinvertebrates, in terms of:<UL><LI>water quality</LI><LI>water quantity and flows; and</LI><LI>habitat quality.</LI></UL>The underlying philosophy of this value is recognising the need to safeguard the life-supporting capacity of the waterbodies to a satisfactory (ie. healthy) level. It is not intended to support or justify a return to a pristine or natural state.
